Our strategy was to develop the best model to execute this plan of bridging the gap between highly competitive individuals and the professional world. CRG was founded in November 1998 by Jack Williams, a former quarterback at Georgia Tech, and started operations in January of 1999. CRG began with a handful of schools in the Spring of 1999 and a small group of organizations that quickly understood the value of working with CRG.

When CRG was founded in 1998 its initial focus was its campus visit training program that helped athletes identify its unique skill set and help them understand how to articulate and effectively present those advantages to hiring managers. The strategy soon become to place as many of the talented student athletes that were being met on campuses with organizations that sought this candidate profile.

Early in 2001, Kurt Patberg joined CRG and has taken CRG to new heights. CRG, the industry leader in training and placement of athletes has grown to employ nearly 20 former athletes that have successfully grown what was started in 1998.

CRG now recruits and places candidates who possess this special skill set on a national basis and has partnerships with over 45 companies nationally. These partnerships have allowed CRG to grow to an all time high in the number of institutions they work with, as well as the number of candidates placed.

CRG will continue to focus on recruiting candidates having an interest in the areas of management, sales, financial services, general business and leadership programs. Periodically, CRG receives opportunities available in marketing, accounting, finance, human resources, and engineering.
